DS3 Climate Control Failure

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2014 Citroen DS3 gasoline. The climate control panel has completely stopped working. I've got an error stored, the heating output is way too low, and the AC won't switch on. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. Could this be a defective blower motor, or something more sinister with the ECU?

I had a similar issue with my DS3. It sounds like a communication problem. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the climate control unit itself? That's a common point of failure.

Thanks for the quick reply! You mean behind the panel itself? Was it visibly damaged, or just loose? I'm just trying to get a better idea of what I'm looking for before I start ripping the dash apart.

Yes, behind the panel. In my case, the plug was slightly corroded, causing intermittent connection. While you might find a quick fix, given the stored error code and multiple symptoms, I recommend a diagnostic check at a workshop to properly diagnose the issue.

Took your advice and brought it to a workshop. Turns out it was indeed a faulty cable connection to the climate control unit, just as you suspected! Repair cost me 95€, so thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right direction!
