DS3 Fuel Filter Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Citroen DS3 diesel is experiencing reduced power, rough idling, and increased fuel consumption due to a code related to the fuel filter heater circuit. The issue is likely caused by a faulty connection or corrosion in the cable and connector leading to the fuel filter heater. A suggested solution is to inspect and possibly repair the connection, which resolved a similar problem for another owner.

Thanks for the tip. Was the issue intermittent for you? My symptoms seem to come and go. The connector looks alright at first glance. Was the faulty connection obvious?

Yeah, mine was intermittent too. The connection might look ok, but give it a wiggle. It's probably corroded inside, which is hard to spot. Eventually, I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty connection pretty fast.

I'll give the connection a proper look and see if it makes any difference. If not, it's off to the shop. It was indeed the connector as suggested. A quick repair set me back 95€.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues on my DS3 – also a diesel. Check the cable and connector going to the fuel filter heater. That's a common weak point.
