DS3 Gear Selection Failure

Hey, I'm having a really weird issue with my 2015 Citroen DS3 gasoline. The gear selection display is totally dead, and I can't engage any gears. The gearbox also slips and makes horrible grinding noises when I try to shift. I scanned it and got an error in the memory. Mileage is at 226129 km. Any ideas? I suspect it's the control unit itself, but want to check if anyone else has experienced this before I take it to a garage.

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my DS3. Was the shifting also behaving implausibly?

Yep, mine was the affected control unit. Bite the bullet and get it to a workshop, they'll need to replace it. It's not a cheap fix, unfortunately.

Thanks! I was afraid of that. Seems like the defective control unit diagnosis is right. Workshop quoted around 1000€ for parts and labor. Will proceed with the repair.
