DS3 Glow Plug Issue

My 2011 Citroen DS3 diesel's preheating lamp won't switch off and I've got an error code. I'm thinking it's the glow plugs, car has 181914 km. Anyone else had similar issues? Could this be causing my fuel efficiency to tank? It's idling rough on cold starts too.

I had something similar happen with my DS3. Is it misfiring at all? Definitely sounds like glow plugs. How many miles are on yours?

No misfiring that I've noticed, but it's definitely not running smooth on startup. What was the damage when you had yours fixed? Trying to brace myself...

Yeah, rough idle and the preheating light staying on are classic glow plug symptoms. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; they confirmed it was the glow plugs. Cost me around 440€ for parts and labor.

Thanks for the info! I took it to a local shop and it was indeed the glow plugs. Ended up costing about 440€ as well. Runs much better now!
