DS4 Air Suspension Failure

I'm having a serious issue with my 2022 Citroen DS4 diesel. The air suspension seems to have completely failed. I've got 247517 km on the clock. The car won't lift anymore, and it's leaning to one side. I'm getting an error message and a warning light. The low beams are all messed up, shining way too high or low! I scanned for codes, and there's an error stored related to the suspension. I'm suspecting maybe it's just a bad connection, a defective cable or plug on the compressor, but I'm not sure where to even start looking. Anyone else had this happen?

Summary of the thread

A 2022 Citroen DS4 diesel experienced a complete air suspension failure, with the vehicle unable to lift and leaning to one side. The issue was accompanied by an error message and a warning light, affecting the low beam alignment. The problem was suspected to be a bad connection, possibly a defective cable or plug on the compressor. After checking for leaks and connections, it was confirmed that a defective cable was the cause, which was resolved at a repair cost of 95€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old BMW 5 series. All sorts of weirdness with the suspension. Did you check for any obvious air leaks around the suspension components or the compressor itself?

Thanks for the tip! I haven't checked for leaks yet, where exactly should I be looking? And which suspension components do you mean?

I mean, around the air struts themselves, and especially where the air lines connect. Also, check the compressor unit itself for any hissing sounds. Honestly, though, after messing with mine for a bit, I just took it to a workshop and they fixed it quickly. Might be worth considering.

Alright, thanks for sharing your experience! I'll take a closer look for leaks and bad connections, but I'll probably end up taking it to the shop. It was indeed a defective cable causing all the trouble – cost me 95€ to fix. Thanks again!
