DS4 Alarm System Failure

I'm having a mare with my 2013 Citroen DS4 diesel. Alarm system's packed it in. The display says 'Error stored in the error memory', and the alarm is completely dead. Had a diagnostics check and it's showing a siren communication fault. They reckon it's likely a dodgy cable or plug. Anyone else had this?

I had something similar on my DS4. Drove me nuts! Was the alarm randomly going off, or is it just completely dead?

Alarm is completely dead. No random alarms going off, nothing. Just a fault code and a non-functional alarm system. Did yours throw up the same error?

Mine was the random alarm thing, but yeah, it chucked up a comms error too. Turned out to be a corroded connector, apparently a common fault. Cost me a few quid to get sorted. I'd take it to a garage, honestly, they'll trace the wiring for you.
