DS4 Engine Overheating

Citroen DS4 (2022, Hybrid). Engine overheating. Mileage 35756 km. Suspect electric fan issue. Likely a bad cable/plug. Anyone else seen this?

Overheating on a '22 DS4 hybrid is concerning. Does the temperature gauge climb rapidly, or does it happen gradually? Are you noticing it mostly in city driving, or at higher speeds? What have you checked so far?

Temp climbs rapidly. Mostly city driving, yes. I checked the fan itself - doesn't seem to spin freely. Connection looks ok visually, but I don't have testing tools. Thinking electric motor?

A rapidly climbing temperature gauge suggests the cooling system isn't functioning as it should, especially in city driving. While the electric motor itself might be the culprit, a defective cable or plug connection seems plausible, given the symptoms. I would recommend bringing it to a workshop to confirm this suspicion.

Thanks. Mechanic confirmed cable/plug. 95€ repair. Overheating gone.
