DS4 Headlight Range Control Fault

I've got a 2023 Citroen DS4 hybrid with about 164k on the clock and I'm experiencing a headlight range control fault. The error is stored, and I have a warning light. Driving at night is a pain because the low beams are either pointing too low or too high, constantly adjusting. I've checked all the fuses and the headlight switch, but everything seems to be in order. Adaptive headlights are acting up, and I suspect it's not auto-leveling correctly. Could it be the servomotor?

I had a similar issue with my DS4. The symptoms sound identical. I'd bet money that it's the servomotor in the headlight unit itself. Have you checked the wiring harness for any damage or corrosion?

Thanks for the quick reply! I did a visual inspection of the wiring harness, but didn't see anything obvious. Where exactly was the issue located in your case? Was it a broken wire, or corrosion inside the connector?

In my case, it turned out to be a faulty servomotor. The wiring looked fine. Honestly, I'd recommend getting it checked out by a workshop. They have the tools to properly diagnose the issue and can replace the servomotor if needed.
