DS4 Oil Pressure Warning and Engine Noise

Hey, I've got a DS4 too! I had something kinda similar happen a while back. Was the noise constant, or just at certain speeds? Did you check for any oil leakage or maybe a clogged oil filter before jumping to the oil pump?

The noise happens at all speeds, and gets louder as the RPMs increase. I checked for leaks but didn't find any. The oil filter was just changed at the last service.

Right, mine was making a racket at low speeds mostly, turned out to be something else entirely, so our issues are probably different. But given what you've checked, and those noises, I reckon your oil pump theory is pretty solid. Sounds like a workshop visit is in order, sadly.

I took it to a mechanic, and they confirmed the oil pump is defective. The replacement, including labor, cost 755€ Thanks for the help.
