DS5 Brake Fluid Low Pedal Feedback

Hi, I've got a 2012 Citroen DS5 hybrid with 237422 km on the clock. Recently, I've noticed the brake fluid level is low, and I'm getting strange feedback from the brake pedal. I'm thinking it might be worn brakes, but I'm not sure. Anyone had similar issues?

Hey, I had something similar happen on my DS5. Is the pedal feeling kinda spongy? It might be your hydraulic brakes needing a look, or even the master cylinder. Low brake fluid could point to a leak somewhere in the brake system.

Spongy is a good way to describe it, yeah. Hydraulic brakes, huh? Is that a common thing with these cars? What did you end up doing about it?

Yeah, it's not uncommon, especially with the mileage we're putting on these things. Definitely get it checked ASAP. It could be a simple fix, or something more serious. I'd recommend a workshop visit before it gets worse. I ended up going to a workshop and they told me my brakes were indeed worn out. That solved the issue.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right – worn brakes were the culprit. Cost me around 480€ to get them replaced. Appreciate the help!
