DS5 Engine Control Malfunction

Hi, I've got a 2011 Citroen DS5 with a gasoline engine and a rather annoying problem. The engine control seems to have malfunctioned. It just refuses to start. I've checked a few things, and I suspect it might be the battery cable connections. Anyone experienced something similar?

Hey! I had a similar issue with my DS5. Check engine light was on, and the car wouldn't start. I had a look at the fuel injection system, but couldn't find anything obvious. Did the engine light come on?

Yeah, the engine light is on. Did you solve the problem yourself, or did you have to take it to a shop?

Nah, couldn't fix it myself. Took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out pretty quickly. Turned out to be a dodgy connection. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally if you can't find anything obvious.

Thanks for the advice! I cleaned the battery connections, but that didn't fix the problem. Took it to a workshop. One of the cables had corroded inside, so they replaced it. Cost me 155€, but at least it's running again!
