DS5 Generator Fault

I own a 2016 Citroen DS5 hybrid with 40726 km. Recently, I've experienced reduced engine power, a warning light, and difficulty starting. The lights also appear weak and flicker. Error memory indicates a generator fault. Is this a common issue?

I had a similar problem with my DS5. Same symptoms - weak lights, trouble starting. Have you checked for a voltage drop across the charging system? It could be a defective generator.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the exact voltage values to check. In my case, the symptoms were so similar, I went straight to the workshop. They confirmed it was the generator.

Understood. Thanks for the advice. I took it to the workshop, and as suspected, the generator was faulty. Repair cost was 960€. The issue is now resolved.
