DS5 outside temperature sensor failure

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my DS5 – like a domino effect of temperature-related systems failing. Is the vehicle temperature gauge acting up too? It could be a faulty sensor messing with everything.

Interesting. Yes, the temperature gauge is all over the place! Did you manage to sort it out yourself, or did it require professional intervention? Was it definitely the sensor, or something else?

Mine was indeed the outside temperature sensor, or rather, the wiring to it. I'm no mechanic, so I had to take it to a workshop. It's one of those things that's probably simple if you know what you're doing, but a nightmare if you don't. Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I've booked it into the workshop. Turns out the cable was indeed defective, just like I suspected. 95€ and all systems are now nominal. Appreciate the insight!
