Calibration? I hadn't thought of that. Is that something I can do myself or does it need special equipment?

In my specific situation, attempting a self-calibration proved unfruitful. To furnish you with a more comprehensive response, the underlying issue stemmed from a defective sensor, necessitating professional intervention for accurate diagnosis and subsequent replacement. Thus, I would suggest you seek assistance from qualified professionals.

Cheers. Took it to a garage. Turned out to be a defective connection as suspected. They replaced the connector and all working as expected. Cost 95€ in the end.

Good day, I recall encountering a similar issue with my previous vehicle, a 2018 BMW 3 Series. In that instance, I had an HVAC sensor fault leading to inconsistent cabin temperatures. Did you perhaps consider performing a calibration of the sensor, or checking the health of the relevant wirings harnesses?
