Dynasty AC and Temperature Sensor Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Hyundai Dynasty is experiencing issues with the air conditioning system and a temperature sensor heat exchanger fault. The problem is likely due to a malfunctioning air conditioning control unit rather than the sensor itself. It is recommended to have the vehicle inspected and repaired at a workshop, as sensor calibration and control unit issues are complex and not suitable for DIY fixes.

Sensor calibration? Could you elaborate on what that entails, and whether it's something I might be able to address myself?

Sensor calibration isn't a task for a novice, akin to performing open-heart surgery with a butter knife. Given the error codes and symptoms, a defective air conditioning control unit is most likely the culprit. It is very probable that you need to go to the workshop. The repair will cost around 980€

Sounds like your HVAC system is acting up. It's probably not the sensor itself, but rather the air conditioning control unit. Think of it like a bad conductor in an orchestra – the sensor is playing its part, but the control unit isn't listening. Have you tried checking the sensor calibration?
