E Klasse Height Control Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Mercedes E Klasse hybrid experienced a 'Height control restricted' warning, with symptoms including uneven suspension, misaligned low beams, and a bumpy ride. The issue was suspected to be a defective control rod on the height sensor. After checking connections and consulting a workshop, the problem was confirmed and resolved by replacing the control rod and resetting the control module, restoring normal suspension function.

Thanks for the quick reply! Height adjustment definitely feels off, it's like the system is completely lost. Where exactly is the height sensor located? I'll check the connections as you suggested. Is it easy to spot?

Mine was on one of the suspension arms, front I think. Honestly, I didn't mess with it too much myself. I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out quickly. They mentioned something about the control module needing a reset after replacing the sensor. Might be worth getting it checked professionally.

Appreciate the advice! I checked the connections, and everything seemed fine. I took it to a workshop just like you suggested. Turns out it was indeed a defective control rod on the height sensor. They replaced it, reset the control module, and now the suspension is back to normal. The bumpy ride is gone! Cost me 110€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I had a similar issue with my E Klasse recently. Also got the 'Height control restricted' message. Does it feel like the height adjustment isn't working at all? Have you checked the connections to the height sensor itself? Sometimes it's just a loose wire.
