Could you elaborate on your BMW issue? Was the root cause electrical, or something else? Any details appreciated.

For me it turned out to be corrosion on the connector to the compressor. Cleaned it up, but it came back. Eventually I had to replace the connector and some of the wiring. Honestly? Just take it to a workshop before you start throwing parts at it. They can diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the advice! I consulted a mechanic, and they confirmed a faulty connector, as suspected. The repair was 95€, including parts and labor. The system is now working.

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar saga with my old BMW 5 series. Vehicle height all over the place, warning lights galore! Was it also the suspension pump, or perhaps air leaks in your case?
