Ecosport Fuel Flap Issue

Anyone else had issues with the fuel flap on their Ecosport? Mine's a 2013 diesel, done 109k km. The release isn't working. I'm getting an error stored, and it won't lock or unlock. Some other functions seem affected too. I suspect it's the linkage, if it even has one.

Oh dear, that sounds like a real pain! I had something similar happen with my Ecosport. Is it an electrical fault perhaps? Maybe the lock actuator?

Electrical fault, eh? Interesting. Did you have the same symptoms? Error codes and all that? Was it just the fuel flap or other systems acting up too?

Yep, all the same issues. I'm no mechanic, but I'd say take it to a workshop and get it checked. That's what I did!

Cheers. Workshop it is then. Turns out it was the electric actuator. Cost me 210€ all in. Thanks for the heads up!
