Ecosport fuel pressure sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Ford Ecosport owner experienced issues with the check engine light, rough engine performance, stalling, and jerking during acceleration, suspecting a faulty fuel pressure sensor. Resistance measurements indicated a potential problem with the cable or plug connection. Another owner with similar issues suggested professional inspection, which confirmed a bad connection to the fuel pressure sensor. The problem was resolved after repairing the connection.

Yeah, fuel economy has really dropped. Can you tell me more about what happened with yours? Did you notice anything with the wiring or connectors for the fuel pressure sensor?

Yeah, mine was drinking gas like it was free! Honestly, I didn't dive too deep myself. Just took it to the shop. They said something about a dodgy connection to the fuel pressure sensor. Best to get it checked out professionally, I reckon.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they found a bad connection to the fuel pressure sensor, like I thought. Repair cost 95€. Problem solved.

Woah, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Ecosport. Check engine light, the whole shebang. Is it chugging fuel like crazy too?
