Ecosport Multifunction Steering Wheel Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2019 Ford Ecosport's multifunction steering wheel stopped working, with an error indicating a fault in the steering wheel controls. The initial suspicion was a connectivity problem. After checking the fuses, which were fine, the issue was identified as a defective cable connection within the steering wheel, which was resolved at a workshop.

The fuses were the first thing I checked, and they seem fine. Was the problem in your Opel also the fuse, or something else?

Nah, wasn't the fuses. Turned out to be a dodgy connection inside the steering wheel itself. Best get it checked at a workshop.

Just so you know, it was a defective cable connection within the steering wheel, like you said. Repair cost 95€.

Sounds familiar. Had similar issues with my old Opel Corsa, steering wheel controls went haywire. Was a pain. You checked the fuses?
