Ecosport Transmission Issues

My 2013 Ford Ecosport, gasoline engine, has 109035 km. Experiencing transmission problems. Symptoms: implausible shifting, transmission light, unusual shifts, emergency mode. Suspect worn ATF, possibly undervoltage related. Any ideas?

Sounds like a potential issue with the auto gearbox. Slipping transmission and emergency mode point to that. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level? Low voltage can definitely mess with the electronic controls of the automatic transmission.

Fluid level seems okay. How exactly does undervoltage impact the transmission's electronic controls?

Undervoltage can cause erratic signals to the solenoids controlling gear changes, leading to shifting problems and emergency mode activation. Better get it checked at a workshop. Could save you from bigger transmission problems later.

Confirmed worn ATF due to undervoltage. Replaced the oil and addressed the voltage issue. Cost 240€. Thanks for the advice.
