Edge Faulty Rail Pressure Sensor

It's got 180339 km on it. Is it likely just the sensor itself that's bad, or could there be something else causing the bad signal?

At that mileage, it's quite possible the sensor itself has simply failed. While wiring issues can sometimes cause similar problems, a failing sensor is the more common culprit. Given the symptoms and the error code, replacing the sensor is a reasonable first step. However, I would still advise taking it to a trusted workshop to make sure that there is not another underlying issue.

You were right! Took it to the shop, they confirmed the pressure sensor was defective. Replaced it for 240€, and now it runs like a champ again! Thanks for the advice!

A faulty rail pressure sensor can definitely cause those symptoms. The sensor provides crucial data to the engine control unit (ECU) about fuel pressure in the fuel rail. If the signal is erratic or missing, the ECU won't be able to properly regulate fuel delivery, leading to stalling, reduced power, and the check engine light. How many kilometers are on your Edge?
