Alright guys, I'm pulling my hair out here. My 2017 Ford Edge diesel is giving me fits. 141,120 km on the clock. Check engine light AND the transmission indicator are on. The gearbox slips something awful, shifts feel unclean, and sometimes I hear grinding when it changes. I scanned it and got an error about the torque converter. Anyone else seen this kinda thing?

Yeah, now that you mention it, there IS a slight engine surge at higher speeds. It's subtle, but noticeable, like it's hunting for the right gear. Is that what you experienced? What did it end up being?

Given the error code you retrieved and the confluence of symptoms, it would be prudent to have the automatic gearbox inspected by a qualified technician.
