Summary of the thread
A 2022 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid had an issue with the passenger electric seat not working, accompanied by an error message. The problem was traced back to a defective battery, which had been heavily discharged, causing unstable voltage and triggering the error. That's interesting. The battery did go flat a few weeks back when I left the lights on. Could that really cause a problem with just the seat? And if so, why only the passenger side?

It is plausible. A significant discharge can sometimes damage the battery's ability to provide consistent voltage, leading to errors in specific modules like the seat control. The passenger seat might be more susceptible due to its wiring or control module. I would suggest taking it to a workshop.

Thanks! You were right, it turned out to be a defective battery that caused the problem. The error was triggered because the voltage was unstable. New battery and error cleared, all in all 290€. Appreciate the help!

I understand you're encountering issues with your Elantra's passenger seat. Has the car's battery been heavily discharged recently, or is it potentially defective? A weak battery can sometimes cause electrical gremlins like this.
