Thanks for the quick reply I don't think the compressor is engaging at all There's absolutely no cold air coming out, and I can't hear or feel it kicking in How did you pinpoint your AC unit issues Was it definitely the control unit, or could it have been something else, like a sensor

In my case, the diagnostic pointed directly to the control unit after checking for refrigerant leaks, and a qualified technician confirmed it While sensors can cause problems, the complete failure you describe strongly suggests a control unit issue, as the AC system does not switch on Given the error code you retrieved, I recommend a visit to a trusted workshop for a proper diagnosis They will be able to perform more in-depth checks

Thanks a million for the advice I took it to my local mechanic, and you were spot on – it was indeed the air conditioning control unit They replaced it, recharged the system, and now it's blowing cold air again Cost me 980€ as feared, but at least it's fixed I really appreciate you sharing your experience

I understand your frustration I own a Sprinter as well, albeit I don't have the EV version Your symptoms align with a similar air conditioning issue I experienced To clarify, does the compressor engage at all, or is there simply no cooling despite the system appearing to function It is worth checking if there is enough auto refrigerant in the system It could be a refrigerant leak
