Hi, thanks for the quick reply and the tip about the on-board control unit, I hadn't even heard of it. Do you happen to remember how much all that fun cost? And have you had any other incidents since the repair or has everything gone smoothly? I hope everything goes as smoothly with my Vivaro.

Hey, no problem, always welcome! I also had an interruption in terminal 30, but it was fixed by the mechanic. So, the on-board control unit cost around €1000 to replace. Quite an expensive pleasure, but what can you do - without a functioning car, you're screwed. Fortunately, I haven't had any other incidents since then and everything has run smoothly. So, cheer up, I'm sure your Vivaro will work too!

Hi again, thanks for the info. It's reassuring to know that your car has been running well since the repair. 1000 may sound like a lot of money at first, but I'm willing to pay that for a car that works well. In any case, I will talk to a technician about it and hopefully find a solution quickly. Good luck with your car!

Hi, I can fully understand your frustration. I had a similar problem with my 2007 Opel Zafira. It also showed the same signs as yours - electrical failures, error messages and flickering lights. In my case, the electrical system control unit was defective. This control unit manages all the vehicle's electrical functions and plays a key role in monitoring and controlling the functions of our car. To fix this, the on-board control unit had to be replaced. It was a serious job, but my mechanics handled it well. They also checked the wiring harness to make sure it was still in good condition. It was a matter of installing the new part correctly and wiring everything up properly. Afterwards my car was running again without these electrical problems. Hope you have the same luck and get it fixed before it gets worse. All the best!
