Hi, thanks for your quick reply! What a coincidence that you had the same problem. Would you be so kind as to tell me how much the repair cost? Have you had any other problems with your car since then, or has everything remained fine? Best regards!

Hello, no problem, I'm happy to help! The repair of the control unit cost me quite a bit - €1000.0 to be precise. But since then the fault with the electric passenger seat is history, so in that sense it was worth it. You know how it is: once you have a car, you always have problems. But since the visit to the mechanic, there have been no more problems with the control unit. Everything else is running perfectly. I hope this helps you and you find a good solution! Best regards!

Hi, thanks for the detailed reply. Phew, that sounds like a pretty expensive endeavor, but if it can help me solve the problem and save me from further trouble, then it's probably a necessity. I'll probably look for a trustworthy mechanic and hope he can fix the problem as well as he did for you. It's good to hear that you haven't had any further problems with your car since. Thanks again for your help and advice! Best regards!

Hello, I have had such experiences with my Opel Astra, built in 2019. In my case, it was the control unit that was defective (this is probably very rare, but of course I was lucky). The seats went crazy and there was also an error report, similar to yours. My mechanic completely replaced the control unit and the problem has been solved ever since. It was quite a lot of work because the control unit depends on all sorts of other systems and therefore quite a lot has to be reconfigured in the car's electronics in the event of a fault. I was glad that I have a good mechanic who knows how to do this one hundred percent. I hope that helps you a little. Best regards!
