Electronic Parking Brake Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Fiat Mobi is experiencing an electronic parking brake failure, indicated by an error log entry and a warning light. Diagnostics suggest that the electric motor in the brake calliper might be defective. Another owner with a similar issue suggests checking the brake sensor, brake switch, or considering a system glitch. The recommended solution is to visit a workshop for professional assessment and repair.

Could you elaborate on the specific symptoms you encountered, and whether your diagnostics pointed to the electric motor within the calliper as well?

Yeah, mine was a total shutdown of the parking brake, same as you. I didn't dig too deep, honestly. I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quick.

I appreciate you sharing. Based on your suggestion, I'll arrange a workshop visit for assessment and repair. The estimated cost is approximately 505€.

Hey, I own a Mobi too, and I had something similar. Is the brake sensor acting up, or maybe the brake switch itself? Could also be a system glitch. Have you checked those?
