Elgrand fuel level sensor issue

My 2012 Nissan Elgrand (gasoline engine, 208833 km) has a fuel level sensor problem. The check engine light is on, it occasionally stalls at idle, and there's an error code for the fuel sensor. I've checked for loose connections, but the issue remains. Could a fuse be the problem? Anyone else experienced this?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar fuel level sensor issue with my Elgrand. The check engine light and occasional stalling match my experience. Have you checked the sensor itself? Where is the error coming from?

Thanks! Which sensor are you referring to? And do you recall where you found the fault code?

I mean the fuel level sensor inside the fuel tank; you'll need to remove it to test it. Actually, it might be easier to have a workshop diagnose it and tell you if it needs replacing? I ended up going to a workshop. I think the sensor will need replacement.

I took it to a local mechanic, as suggested. They found the fuel level sensor was faulty. The replacement cost, including labor, was about 52€. Thanks for the help; it was extremely useful.
