Elysion brake fluid low
Summary of the thread
The brake fluid warning light on a 2020 Honda Elysion hybrid indicated low fluid levels, accompanied by unusual brake pedal feedback. A possible cause for this issue is worn brake pads, which can lead to a drop in fluid levels as the system compensates. The recommended solution is to inspect the brake pads and, if necessary, replace them, as was confirmed in this case with a professional mechanic's assistance.

Worn brakes, huh? Is it something I can check myself, or should I just take it to a mechanic?

You can visually check the pads, but honestly, brakes are pretty important. If you're not confident, best to get it checked out. I ended up needing new pads and rotors on my Megane.

Thanks! I took it to a shop, and you were right. It was the front brakes; pads were worn down. Cost me 480€ for the replacement, but at least it's sorted.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Turned out to be worn brakes. The pads wear down, and the fluid level drops as the system compensates.
