Elysion Door Lock Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Honda Elysion is experiencing door lock failure, where the doors cannot be locked or unlocked using the remote or from inside. The issue might be due to a faulty door contact signal, a malfunctioning door latch, or an electrical problem within the door wiring harness. It is suggested to check the door switch and wiring connections, but ultimately, taking the vehicle to a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Thanks for the tip! When you say 'door switch', are you referring to the physical switch that activates the interior light when the door opens, or something else? Also, where is the door wiring harness located?

Yep, I meant the physical switch that triggers the interior light. But if the door can't be locked/unlocked at all, it's unlikely to be only the switch. The wiring harness runs inside the door, connecting all the electrical components (door lock actuator, window motor etc.) to the car's main electrical system. The problem is most likely caused by a defective cable or plug connection of the component. To be honest, with electrical stuff like this, especially inside the door, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. I had mine fixed for 95€, so it shouldn't be too expensive.

Appreciate the insights. I'll take your advice and bring it to a workshop next week. Sounds like it's beyond my current abilities to diagnose. Thanks again for the help!

Hey, I had a similar issue on my Elysion (though it's a different year). Sounds like it could be the door latch or potentially an electrical issue in the door wiring harness. Have you checked the door switch itself? Sometimes those get gummed up or fail, causing a bad signal.
