Elysion Windshield Washer Heater Fault
Summary of the thread
The windshield washer heater on a 2023 Honda Elysion hybrid is malfunctioning, causing the spray nozzles to freeze despite using winter fluid. A similar issue was resolved by checking the cable and plug connection at the washer fluid reservoir, which was found to be faulty. It is recommended to have the vehicle professionally diagnosed and repaired, especially given the presence of error codes.

Thanks for the quick reply. Could you say which cable and plug connection you mean? The one right at the washer fluid reservoir, or somewhere else? Any details would help.

No problem. Yeah, it was the connector right at the reservoir. I'd suggest checking that first. Honestly though, after fiddling with it for a while, I just took it to a workshop. Turns out it was a dodgy connection, but they sorted it. Probably worth getting it checked professionally, especially with those error codes.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. Given your experience and the error code, I'll book a workshop visit for a diagnosis and repair. Quoted about 95€.

Hey, I drive an Elysion too, and yeah, that sounds familiar. Had a similar problem last winter with the washer nozzles freezing up. Did you check the cable and plug connection to the heater element? That's where my issue was.
