EMehari AC Undervoltage Issue

Air conditioning not engaging on my 2019 Citroen EMehari (electric engine). Blowing warm air, and I've got an HVAC error code. Mileage is at 60506 km. Could it be a pressure switch or refrigerant leak? Anyone seen this?

I've seen similar symptoms, though not on an EMehari. The undervoltage situation is interesting. Before refrigerant or pressure switches, check the AC relay and the electrical connections to the compressor. A simple voltage drop test might reveal if the compressor is getting enough power. What's the specific error code? That could help.

Thanks! I haven't checked the AC relay or done a voltage drop test yet. The error code is for low voltage in the AC compressor circuit. Where's the AC relay located in the EMehari, and what voltage should I expect at the compressor?

Given the low voltage error, it strengthens the undervoltage theory. Relay locations can vary, but your owner's manual should have a diagram. You should see battery voltage (around 12V-14V) at the compressor when the AC is on. If you're comfortable with electrical testing, proceed cautiously. It sounds like you may need a workshop, as it may be difficult to fix yourself.

Understood, thanks! I took it to a workshop as you recommended. It was an undervoltage issue as you suspected, caused by a faulty connection. Repair cost was 240€. I appreciate your help narrowing it down!
