EMehari Defrost Air Distribution Fault

My 2017 Citroen EMehari (electric engine) is giving me grief. I've got 33288 km on the clock and the defrost air distribution flap seems faulty. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, and the heating output is way too low – windshield fogging is a pain. I suspect it's a cable or plug connection issue. Anyone else encountered this? It's like trying to breathe through a straw!

Yep, sounds familiar! I had something similar with my EMehari. Check the flap motor, but it could also be a control unit problem. Is the blower motor working properly?

Thanks for the quick reply! The blower motor seems fine, it's blowing air, just not where it's supposed to go, and not warm enough. Where exactly is the flap motor located? Is it easily accessible, or am I going to need to dismantle half the dashboard?

Okay, if the blower is working, it's most likely the flap. Honestly, getting to it is a bit of a pain. Unless you're really confident, I'd recommend getting a workshop to take a look. Could save you a lot of time and frustration. For me, the behavior was exactly like yours.

Appreciate the advice! I'll book it in with a local workshop. They quoted me about 95€ to sort it, which seems reasonable. Hopefully, it's just a loose connection as suspected. Thanks again for confirming my suspicions!
