Hey, thanks for your reply! Sounds really reassuring that it was just a software error in your case. Do you happen to remember what you paid for the troubleshooting and repair back then? And was there any other problem with the emergency call system afterwards? Thank you in advance!

Hey, sure, I can still remember! Since the visit to the mechanic, the emergency call system has been working perfectly, so there were no further faults afterwards. I had to pay €205 for the repair itself, i.e. to fix the faulty cable. But it was worth it, safety first, right? VG!

Hey, thank you very much for the detailed information. That reassures me a little. By the way, €205 also sounds quite acceptable for fixing the problem. Safety first, of course, I agree with you. I'll be taking my car to the garage soon and hope it's just as easy to fix. Thanks again and take care!

Hey, I drive a Seat Leon 2016, not exactly the same model as yours, but almost. Last year I had a similar problem, my emergency call system just stopped working out of the blue. After a few days of troubleshooting, it turned out to be a software error. They reinstalled the system at the garage and then it worked like clockwork again. So it wasn't a serious problem, more annoying because it took a while to find the problem. But it may well be that your problem is completely different. But it's best to have it checked at the garage, they can usually find out pretty quickly. VG!
