Interesting! I haven't checked the codes yet. Where would I find the telematics module in the RX? Is it easy to get to, or do I need to remove trim?

On my Volvo, it was behind the glove box, but I wouldn't assume it's the same for your Lexus. Honestly, unless you're really comfortable with automotive electronics, I'd suggest a workshop. A defective emergency call system is a car safety concern and you want it resolved correctly. They can properly diagnose it and replace the connector. It might save you a headache.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. It was a loose connector in the telematics system. The repair cost 95€. Everything is working now. I appreciate the help!

That sounds frustrating! I had something similar with my 2016 Volvo XC60. It was a faulty connector in the telematics module – like a loose wire. Did you check the diagnostic codes? That might give you a better idea of which cable or plug is defective. The codes helped me pinpoint the issue.
