Endeavour cruise control issue

Good call on the brake lights – I’ll check them. Is there a specific plug or cable to check near the steering wheel or the cruise control module? Where is the cruise control module located, in case I need to test it?

I'm not familiar with the exact location of those components in your car. But I remember reading that cruise control issues in newer models can be from a defective cable or plug connection. If you're getting an error code, chasing it with live data would be best done by a shop with the right gear and experience. It's probably not a huge deal, but could be a pain to diagnose without proper tools.

You were spot on! It was a defective connection as you suggested. A local garage found a faulty plug connection on the cruise control module. The repair cost 95€! Thanks for the advice; it gave me a good starting point to describe the problem to the shop.

That sounds like a drag! I had something similar happen. Have you checked if your brake lights are working? A faulty brake light switch can disable cruise control as a safety measure. Also, check the cruise control switch connection. Have you been under the steering wheel lately?
