Endeavour Intake Manifold Issue

My 2023 Ford Endeavour diesel is giving me headaches. It's done 243035 km. Recently, it's started jerking when accelerating, the check engine light keeps popping on, and I've noticed a definite drop in engine power. Sometimes it even stalls at idle, and the engine runs rough. Plus, there's a strong exhaust smell that wasn't there before. I hooked it up to a code reader, and it's throwing an error related to the intake manifold. I'm suspecting a leak, maybe scorching. Anyone else run into something similar?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Endeavour – jerking, check engine light, loss of power. I would check the intake manifold. Maybe the manifold sensor or air intake itself.

Interesting. What exactly went wrong with yours? Was it also the intake manifold? I'm trying to gauge how serious this is before I take it in.

Yep, turned out to be the intake manifold. Seems they can leak. I'd get it checked out by a workshop sooner rather than later. You don't want to risk further damage.
