Endeavour radio error messages
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Ford Endeavour is experiencing radio issues, with error messages and intermittent audio failure. Possible causes include a defective antenna, poor antenna ground, or a faulty antenna booster. It is suggested to check the antenna and connections for corrosion, given the vehicle's age. A workshop visit may be necessary to resolve the issue effectively.

Good question! It's a bit of both, actually. Sometimes the signal is weak and fades in and out, other times it just goes silent completely. It is really frustrating me. Any thoughts based on that?

Sounds very familiar. Given that it’s intermittent, I would suggest getting the antenna itself checked, along with the connections. Given the age of the vehicle, corrosion could be a factor. I couldn’t figure it out myself, so I took mine to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quickly.

Thanks for the advice! I was hoping I could fix it myself, but it sounds like a trip to the workshop is inevitable. Appreciate you sharing your experience. They quoted me around 255€, so I will get it sorted.

I have an Endeavour and had somewhat similar radio issues. Are you experiencing generally poor signal strength, or does the radio just cut out completely, even with stations that should be strong?
