Entourage central locking failure
Summary of the thread
The central locking system of a 2009 Hyundai Entourage stopped functioning, with neither the key fob nor the interior button working. A potential cause identified was a faulty connection in the door's wiring harness. The recommended solution was to have a professional inspect and repair the wiring, which successfully resolved the issue.

Interesting. Where exactly is that wiring harness located? Is it something I can get to myself, or do I need special tools, or should I just take it to the shop?

Yeah, it's behind the door panel. Honestly, while you could probably get to it, messing with wiring without knowing what you're doing is like trying to defuse a bomb blindfolded. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They diagnosed mine as a defective cable/plug connection, and the repair was around 95€.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to my local mechanic, and you were spot on. It was indeed a dodgy connection in the door wiring. They fixed it for 95€, just like you said. All working again now!

I had a similar problem with my Entourage, though I can't remember the year. The central locking went haywire. Have you checked the wiring harness that goes into the door? It's like a garden hose that feeds everything, and if one of the wires inside is damaged, it can cause all sorts of problems.
