Entourage Fault Memory Lock Active
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Hyundai Entourage owner is experiencing a 'Fault memory lock active' error, suspecting it might be related to undervoltage. Another owner suggests that the issue could be related to the control unit and recommends checking the battery voltage. Despite the battery appearing normal, professional ECU diagnostics are advised to address the active memory fault. The owner plans to visit a workshop for further investigation.

I did check the battery, and it seems within normal parameters, however might be worthwhile investigating the ECU fault. Could you please elaborate on what you mean by control unit issue, and what automotive diagnostics steps do you suggest?

If the battery voltage seems normal, undervoltage might not be the entire picture. The fault memory lock likely requires professional-grade ECU diagnostics due to the active memory. Best visit a workshop.

Understood. I will schedule a visit to the workshop for proper ECU diagnostics. The eventual repair cost was 240€. Your insights have been invaluable.

I have an Entourage as well. A similar 'Fault memory lock active' message cropped up for me. I would suspect a control unit issue. Did you check the battery voltage?
