Entourage NOx Sensor Error

I'm having a persistent issue with my 2007 Hyundai Entourage (gasoline engine) with 188047 km. The check engine light is on and it's throwing a NOx sensor error. I've also detected an exhaust leak. I think it might be the NOx sensor cable or plug. Any ideas?

Summary of the thread

A 2007 Hyundai Entourage is experiencing a persistent check engine light due to a NOx sensor error, potentially linked to an exhaust leak. The issue might be caused by a faulty NOx sensor cable or plug. Suggestions include checking the air-fuel ratio and ensuring proper connections, with a recommendation to seek professional diagnosis and repair, possibly involving cable replacement.

I had something similar with my Entourage. The check engine light was on, and the computer kept throwing NOx sensor codes. Have you checked the air-fuel ratio? A bad ratio can trigger those sensors.

Thanks! Could you tell me more about how you checked the air-fuel ratio and how it relates to the NOx sensor?

I didn't dive too deep myself. After checking the connections, I took it to a shop. They confirmed the NOx sensor issue after checking the pollution control system. Getting it professionally diagnosed might be worth it.

Okay, thanks. I'll probably see a technician. They quoted me about 95€ to replace the cable.
