Entourage Transmission Indicator and Check Engine Lights
Summary of the thread
A 2007 Hyundai Entourage is experiencing transmission indicator and check engine lights, leading to emergency mode, erratic shifting, gear slipping, and grinding noises. The issue is linked to a radiator oil pressure error code, suggesting a possible defective cable or plug connection. A similar case was resolved by checking and repairing connections to the oil cooler, which is recommended as a potential solution.

Yeah, there's an error code stored pointing to the radiator oil pressure. When you say check the oil cooler connections, are you referring to any specific plug or wiring harness? Was your resolution the same, with a bad connection?

Yep, same error code. I'd start with the connectors going to the cooler itself. I'm no mechanic, but it sounds like you're on the right track. If you're not comfortable doing it yourself, I'd take it to a decent workshop. They should be able to sort it out quickly.

Thanks, that's good to know! I've found a broken connection and going to pay 95€ for the repair. Appreciate the help!

I've had something similar happen with my Entourage. Same symptoms - lights, weird shifting, the whole deal. Check the connections to the oil cooler, might be worth a shot. Is it also storing an error code?
