Entourage Windshield Washer Heater Error
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Hyundai Entourage is experiencing an error with the windshield washer heater, causing the spray nozzles to freeze. The issue might be due to a bad cable or plug. A similar problem was resolved by addressing a clogged washer motor, suggesting that checking the washer motor, heating element, and cleaning the nozzles could be potential solutions. Given the complexity, taking the vehicle to a workshop for professional repair is recommended.

Thanks! When your washer motor was clogged, did it throw an error code? And did you have problems with the heating element, or just low spray volume?

I did get a warning light eventually, yes. I didn't check the heating element closely, it was freezing! I just took it to a shop, and they fixed it fast. That's probably best. Could be a fuse, but I wouldn't know where to start!

Thanks for confirming and suggesting that. Considering the complexity and need for tools, I'll take it to a workshop. The estimated repair is 95€.

That sounds frustrating! I have a Hyundai Entourage too. I had a similar issue last winter, and it turned out to be a clogged washer motor. Have you checked the washer motor and the heating element itself? Maybe try cleaning the nozzles first with a needle?
