Eon key battery low
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Hyundai Eon is displaying a 'key battery low' warning, causing keyless access issues and remote malfunction. The problem is likely due to a depleted key battery, despite the vehicle having only 110,384 km. The suggested solution is to replace the key battery, which was confirmed to resolve the issue at a local workshop for a cost of 37€.

Yeah, exactly that! I have to be right next to the car for it to even register. Was yours the same? Did you replace it yourself or go to a workshop?

Yep, same symptoms. To be honest, I just went straight to a workshop to get it sorted. It's a pretty common issue, apparently. Did not want to break anything.

Thanks! I took your advice and went to a local place. Turns out it was just the key battery, as suspected. Cost me 37€ to replace. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar happen with my Eon. Is the unlocking or locking really not working properly anymore? Seems like a battery issue to me.
