Eon rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Hyundai Eon with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The problem is suspected to be related to the fuel system, possibly the fuel pump or fuel pressure sensor. After taking the car to a workshop, it was confirmed that the issue was with the fuel pressure sensor's cable, which was repaired, resolving the problem.

Fuel pressure sensor, huh? Where exactly is that located, and is it easy to get to? And yeah, you're right, my fuel economy has been terrible lately!

It's usually somewhere along the fuel rail. Honestly, unless you're really comfortable working on cars, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Could save you a lot of headache. But yeah, those were exactly the symptoms I had before I went to the workshop.

Thanks a lot! I took it to the workshop. You were right, it was the fuel pressure sensor's cable. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Runs like new now!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Hyundai i10. Sounds like it could be the fuel pressure sensor. Check the cable and plug connection to the sensor. Is your fuel economy also worse than usual?
