Epica AC Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2011 Chevrolet Epica diesel's AC failure is characterized by it not switching on or cooling. While a fuse issue is considered, other potential causes include a faulty pressure switch or defective valves. Testing the pressure switch requires specific tools, and valve issues might necessitate professional repair. Seeking assistance from a workshop is suggested for a definitive solution.

Pressure switch... hmm, I haven't checked that specifically. How would I test it? Is it easily accessible? Is it possible that defect valves are the issue?

Testing the pressure switch can be a bit tricky without the right tools. Honestly, based on what you're saying, it really does sound like a valve issue, like what happened to mine. I ended up biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. Cost me around 1000€, but at least it's fixed. I'm so annoyed it happened though!

I had a similar problem with my Epica. The AC just packed it in. Did you check the pressure switch? Is the compressor even trying to kick in? I am just so frustrated that the AC maintenance is so poor!
