EQC Air Suspension Failure Experiences

My 2020 Mercedes EQC Electric has air suspension problems The vehicle won't lift and leans noticeably

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Mercedes EQC Electric is experiencing air suspension problems, specifically failing to lift and leaning noticeably. The issue is suspected to be related to the air spring bellows valve, as indicated by intermittent error messages on the dashboard. A similar case was resolved by replacing the bellows valve, which restored the suspension's functionality. It is advised to have the vehicle inspected by a workshop promptly to prevent further complications.

Whoa, that sounds rough! I had a similar suspension issue with my EQC, although I got away with it sooner than you, mileage-wise. The leaning and the bumpy ride? Yeah, I remember that feeling. It felt like driving a boat in choppy waters! Was it making any weird hissing sounds before it went completely kaput? I remember mine sounded like it was slowly deflating, like a sad balloon. Did you get any warnings on the dash before the big failure? Just curious if our experiences line up. It definitely sounds like your air spring is failing.

That's incredibly helpful to hear, thank you! I didn't notice any hissing sounds, to be honest, but I do recall seeing the error message on the dashboard intermittently for a while before it became permanent. It would pop up and then disappear, so I dismissed it as a glitch. I'm starting to think that was the bellows valve slowly failing. Was your issue also related to the air spring bellows valve, and if so, did replacing it resolve the suspension issue completely?

Yep, the bellows valve was the culprit for me too! Once that air spring component was replaced, the suspension issue vanished completely. Smooth sailing ever since. I'd say get it checked out by a workshop ASAP, especially with those error messages popping up. Ignoring it won't make it go away, trust me, it'll only get worse (and probably more expensive)!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It's reassuring to know that replacing the bellows valve resolved the suspension failure for you. I'll definitely take your advice and get it checked out by a workshop as soon as possible. I'll post information here once the issue is resolved. It's incredibly helpful to hear from someone who has gone through a similar pneumatic suspension problem.
