Not sure how to check the battery charging voltage. Is that different from the main car battery? Also, is the vehicle battery the same as the car battery?

Yeah, the vehicle battery is just another name for the car battery. If you aren't sure how to test the voltage, I would probably take it to a workshop. It's worth getting it checked out before it leaves you stranded.

Thanks, I think you're right. Turns out it was a defective battery sensor. Cost me 315€ to get it fixed. Appreciate the advice!

Sounds familiar. I have an EQC too. Had something similar happen where the vehicle battery kept draining. Have you checked the battery charging voltage? A discharged battery can cause all sorts of weird issues.
