Loose connection eh Hmmm thats interesting I havent had any recent work done but where exactly should I be looking for this loose connection Is it something I can check myself or is it buried deep within the automotive electronics jungle

While I understand your eagerness to troubleshoot delving into automotive electronics without proper expertise can be risky Based on diagnostic experience the likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection Given the potential complexity and the safety implications of the emergency call system I would strongly advise against attempting a repair yourself A qualified technician can perform a thorough diagnostic check and address the issue safely and effectively I ended up paying 95€ for the repair

A malfunctioning emergency call system in the EQC is a serious concern I also drive an EQC and encountered a similar issue The symptoms you describe error message warning light and stored error are indicative of a potential fault within the systems communication network In my case it was a loose connection Have you had any recent work done on the car that might have disturbed any connections
